1. Who we are

These Terms govern your purchase and use of products sold by Blissfully You, LLC d/b/a Hair Play Education ("Hair Play," "we," "us," "our").

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using any Hair Play Education product, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase.

2. What we sell

Hair Play Education sells professional education for cosmetologists and head spa operators:

• The HairPlay Method — a written digital curriculum. This product is the curriculum only. It does not include an examination, a certificate, or certification of any kind.
• Self-Study Certification — the written curriculum, video instruction modules, a graded examination, and the Hair Play Certified credential.
• In-Person Certification — the Self-Study Certification plus a hands-on training day at our location, including a practical assessment.
• On-Site Team Intensive — multi-day hands-on instruction delivered at your location, individually quoted. Includes the written curriculum, in-person instruction, practical assessment, and individual certification. Does not include access to the online video course.

Specific inclusions are described on the product page at the time of purchase. That description controls.

3. Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically to the email address you provide at checkout, immediately upon successful payment or within 24 hours.

Course access is granted immediately upon successful payment and remains available for the duration stated on the product page.

In-person and on-site training is delivered on the date agreed in writing between you and Hair Play.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address. We are not responsible for non-delivery caused by an incorrect address, a full mailbox, or your spam filter. If you do not receive your materials, contact us and we will resend them.

4. License to use — please read this section

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for one (1) named individual to access and use the materials for your own professional education and practice.

You may:

• Access and study the materials yourself
• Apply the techniques taught in your own professional practice
• Print one copy for your personal reference

You may not:

• Share, forward, resell, sublicense, rent, lend, or distribute the materials to any other person, including colleagues, employees, students, or business partners
• Upload the materials to any shared drive, file-sharing service, cloud folder, or intranet
• Reproduce, excerpt, screenshot, or republish the materials in any format
• Use the materials to create a competing course, curriculum, or training product
• Teach the Hair Play Method to third parties for compensation without a separate written license from us
• Remove, obscure, or alter any watermark, license notice, or attribution

Multiple users require multiple licenses. Team pricing is available on the Self-Study Certification — contact us.

Digital copies are watermarked with the purchasing individual's name, email address, and order number. Distribution of a copy traced to you is a breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate termination of access without refund, in addition to any other remedy available to us.

5. Intellectual property

All content — the Hair Play Method, the curriculum, videos, images, protocols, forms, assessments, examinations, and the Hair Play name and marks — is the exclusive property of Blissfully You, LLC. Your purchase transfers no ownership. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. Certification — what it is and what it is not

Upon successful completion of the applicable requirements you may receive a Hair Play Certified credential.

You expressly acknowledge and agree:

• This certification is issued by a private company. It is not a government license, permit, or state credential. It is not issued, endorsed, approved, accredited, or recognized by the State of Oklahoma, any state cosmetology or barbering board, or any governmental or accrediting body.
• Certification does not authorize you to perform any act requiring a state license. You are solely responsible for determining and complying with the licensing, registration, and regulatory requirements of your own jurisdiction, which vary by state and change over time.
• Certification creates no employment, agency, partnership, franchise, or joint venture relationship, and grants no right to use the Hair Play name or marks in your business name, signage, website, or marketing.
• You may state that you are “Hair Play Certified” or “certified in the Hair Play Method.” You may not describe yourself as licensed, accredited, board-certified, or state-approved by reason of this certification.
• Certification is issued to individuals only. No organization, salon, spa, or business is certified. No purchaser may represent their business as a Hair Play certified, licensed, authorized, or affiliated location.
• We may revoke certification for conduct that misrepresents the credential, violates these Terms, or brings the Hair Play name into disrepute.

7. No professional or medical advice

Hair Play Education products are educational. Nothing in them constitutes medical, dermatological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Scalp and hair conditions may indicate underlying medical issues. Materials describing the identification of conditions are provided for educational purposes only and do not qualify you to diagnose or treat any medical condition. You agree to refer clients to a qualified medical professional where appropriate, and you are solely responsible for exercising that judgment in your own practice.

8. Your results are your own

Any outcomes, revenue figures, or business results described in our materials or marketing are examples, not promises. We make no guarantee regarding income, business success, client outcomes, or examination pass rates. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your effort, skill, market, and business decisions.

9. Your information and marketing

We collect and store your information in our own systems to deliver your purchase, support you, and run our business. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and how it is used.

We use a small number of outside services to operate — a payment processor, a customer relationship system, and email and hosting providers. These companies process your information on our behalf, under contract, and may only use it to perform the service we hired them for.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or give it away to anyone for their own marketing.

By purchasing from us or submitting a form, and agreeing to these Terms, you agree that we may use the information you provide for our own internal marketing — including emails about new courses, training dates, offers, and updates. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing admin@hairplayspa.co.

Text messages are handled separately. If you provide your phone number and check the relevant consent box, we may send you text messages. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. We collect it through a clearly labeled checkbox at the point you give us your number — separate from the box for account and course messages, and neither is pre-selected. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for assistance. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or any product shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

You assume full responsibility for your application of the techniques taught, including any injury, adverse reaction, or damage to any person you treat. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blissfully You, LLC, its members, employees, and agents from any claim arising out of your practice, your use of the materials, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms — including by distributing materials, misrepresenting the certification, or issuing a chargeback in bad faith.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Canadian County, Oklahoma, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes apply to purchases made after the effective date of the update. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hair Play Education regarding your purchase.
